CPR AED and FIRST AID Course
(with environmental emergencies) as it pertains to helping Adults, Children and Infants.
Heartsaver First Aid with CPR & AED is a classroom course that is designed to meet OSHA requirements. The course teaches basic first Aid, CPR, and AED skills such as:
- Helping someone with a possible broken bone or sprain
- Giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult
- Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Course Length: Approximately 6½ hours
The course provides employee training for
- Designated first responders
- Individuals needing credentialed training for job or regulatory requirements
- Select departments or an entire workplace
Adult first aid
(first aid basics, medical emergencies and injury emergencies)
- Adult/Child CPR with mask
- Adult/Child AED
- Environmental emergencies
- Infant CPR with mask
The American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid With CPR & AED Course Completion Card is valid for two years.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Course:
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.
Course Length: Approximately 4½ hours
Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.
We also offer the Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course, which is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
